DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE The Legal Specialist will have the opportunity to collaborate both with the Legal and the Real Estate Departments, particularly in the activities related to franchising and real estate agreements.

The resource will collaborate with the Legal team in drafting legal documents such as contracts, resolutions, and supplementary agreements.

She/He will support the coordination of the Real Estate activities and the relations with tenant representatives, landlords, local Bata companies, and the internal HQs department.

KEY CHALLENGES Drafting of legal documents such as contracts, resolutions, and supplementary agreementsSupporting negotiation of Italy and Spain contractsChecking regulations of interest to the company and changes in the legal framework in order to provide timely updatesSupport the Bata and AW LAB Real Estate Manager for the analysis of the opening proposals receivedSupport in collaboration with the Technical Department for the activities' feasibility and handover conditionsSupport in collaboration with the Finance department in order to prepare a Business Plan (aligned with the approved budget) for the received proposalsAttend Property Meetings to overview the proposals received from a commercial and financial point of viewCollect the narrative and financial reports for the approval of the Management TeamSupport in communication to the departments through Internal Memos related to openings, renewals, and closingsUpdate and manage the database related to the whole Real Estate portfolioSupport the management of operations regarding the renewals and closings of the storesSupport in the management of the Risk Document (Scheda Rischi) to highlight the risks encountered when signing a contractCORE COMPETENCIES Degree - preferably in Business Economy or LawFluent in Italian and English, Spanish is a plusDelivers consistently following department priorities, respecting deadlinesPursues quality in accomplishing tasks, paying attention to details and verifying informationPlanning and organizationRelates well to all kinds of people, up, down, and sideways, inside and outside the organizationCommunication and negotiationLOCATION Limena (PD)Possibility of working in Smart Working for part of the week after an initial on-site training period
