Key role in contributing to the success of Deutsche Banks leveraged lending franchise.

You will partner with front office colleagues to analyze leveraged transactions, manage a portfolio of leveraged counterparties, and contribute to regulatory audits.

You will also play a critical role in ensuring adherence to all credit policies, associated governance, internal data quality and regulatory reporting.

The role is based in Milan.

**Key Responsibilities

- Analyze leveraged finance transactions including leverage buy outs (LBOs), mergers and acquisitions (M&A) financing, buy and holds and provide credit recommendations/present to CRM senior management and/or underwriters

- Build relationships with front office colleagues communicating point of view and offering solutions

- Interactions with on-going reporting requirements for internal/external auditors and regulatory authorities

- Ensure credit approval documentation is consistent with leveraged lending policies and applicable regulations

- Portfolio management for assigned counterparties as well as limit review including oversight of data integrity in credit system

**Preferrable experience/education/competences

- Min 3-year experience working with leveraged finance transactions in a credit risk or similar role or Min 5-year experience in Banking in case of no specific role in leveraged finance transactions

- Credit or leveraged finance background with experience in corporate analysis

- Understanding of leveraged loan mechanisms, structures, loan documentation and related terms

- Able to work under time pressure and develop transaction approval recommendations under the guidance of a sector head

- Degree in Economics, Management Engineering

- Advanced skills in utilization of Excel, basic utilization of SAS
