Licensing Manager
Pininfarina, a leading global design house, has created in its 95 year lifespan some of the most influential and iconic designs in automotive history.
Our project ranges cross from hyper-luxury supercars to new mobility solutions, to trains, aircrafts and boats, serving worldwide established OEMs and start-ups.
We are currently strengthening our team, which today operates in three studios in Italy, China and the United States.
With a view to strengthening our team, we are looking for a
**LICENSING MANAGER
The Licensing Manager will report to the Head of Global Brand Extension and he/she will work closely with internal (Sales, Marketing and Legal department) and external stakeholders to grow existing accounts and proactively establish new business relationships with the end goal being to drive brand awareness, brand positioning and sales growth.
**Job Roles**:
- Drive sales growth by expanding the portfolio of clients, products, and markets.
- Evaluate, structure, negotiate and execute licensing agreements with a solid understanding of the licensing economics and dynamics.
- Analyze performance of existing licensees and identify new market opportunities.
- Support in managing the licensing agents network set up by Pininfarina.
- Produce sales/business reports and maintain healthy sales pipelines.
- Keep up to date of industry trends and actively participate in trade fairs.
- Responsible for identifying and capitalizing on expansion opportunities within existing and new accounts.
- Responsible for client satisfaction and revenues with a focus on profitability and joint marketing activations
- Understand client's needs and requirements to uncover additional opportunities for potential growth in organic revenue.
- Provide presentations that effectively communicate the values and the benefits of Pininfarina.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of four (4) years prior experience in licensing business, preferably in a premium/luxury brand and/or in licensing agencies
- A strong understanding about design, premium/luxury markets and licensing.
- Strong project management skills and ability to organize complex work environments effectively.
- Self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial spirit, and willing to continuously improve client relationship management through the pursuit of customer-service excellence.
- Ability to drive new sales and establish business relationships.
- Ability to work on complex contract negotiations and proposal developments.
- Proven ability to understand and effectively communicate with multiple functional groups.
- Proven track record of effectively increasing year-to-year revenue growth in a sales environment.
- Ability to effectively react in dynamic, customer-facing situations.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Must possess experience presenting to groups of peers, management, and clients.
- Strong computer skills in databases, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
- Ability to travel extensively internationally.
- Knowledge of new trends regarding AI, NTF and Metaverse.
Main place of work: Cambiano (Turin, Italy).
