Within the Group Life Actuarial Function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.

The Life Actuarial Analyst will support the Head of the Life Actuarial Function on the oversight activities over Group Life Technical Provisions within the Solvency II framework. Key responsibilities of the role will include:Support the Head of Group Life Actuarial FunctionDefinition of the Group's framework (process, methodology, deliverables), to be rolled-out and adopted by all Group's Companies in the valuation of the S2 Life Technical Provisions (S2 Life TP)Analysis on the best estimate operating assumptions used by GLEsAnalysis of S2 Life TP results provided by local business unitsMonitoring and analysis of regulatory developmentsInteract with local actuarial functions of Generali Group's CompaniesUnderstand local Life TP valuation activities and outputsSupport local actuarial functions in case of issues affecting local Life TPGain a technical expertise on local specificities, also via visits and periods of onsite workingParticipate in ad-hoc projects such as valuations framework developments (including Solvency II), Sustainability analyses, ALM valuations, reserving adequacy analyses, or extension to non EEA companies of Group frameworkRequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Master's Degree in Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Mathematics or other quantitative sciencesAt least 3 years experience in insurance industry / actuarial sectorKnowledge of actuarial techniques and of Life insurance accounting practices and standardsEnglish proficiencyNice to have:Knowledge of actuarial software (Prophet, Risk Agility, R)Experience in validating Life Technical Provisions, or in auditing activities in generalKnowledge of financial instruments and of Economic Scenario GeneratorsExperience with international working environmentSoft skills:Excellent attitude for analytical analysis and creativityDrive for excellent quality in producing output reports, either textual, graphic, or numericProactive approach, and strong collaboration skills and teaming abilityStrong presentation and communication skillsSolution-oriented and strong problem-solving skillsAvailability for international travel, possibly including secondments abroadCompany ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
