We operate in over 75 countries, with 80 Showrooms. The RoleThe HR Business Partner will support, maintain, optimize, and improve the HR Processes within all Brands/Companies under the umbrella of Lifestyle Design – Haworth Group in the UK.
He/She will be based in London but will need to move to Coventry for 2 days per week where the production plant is based. He/She will be responsible for the following activities:Achieve and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory obligationsDevelop and maintain company policies and procedures, including Employee HandbookDevelop and support management/employee consultation processesManage pay and benefitsProvide an end-to-end administration service for all employment mattersAdvise and support managers with employee relations issues including performance management, disciplinary, grievance, and redundancyProvide a reporting, monitoring, and reporting process for key employment issuesSupport Brands HR with UK-specific employment contractsPrepare monthly reports for HQ, including HR dashboard, FTE, quarterly forecasts, and budgetSupport the processing of payroll, including new starters, leavers, timesheets, calculating pay, providing HMRC submissionsManage attendance, leave, and sick daysKeep records of leave and sick days in ExcelHandle Statutory Sick Payment requestsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to achieve high levels of trust, respect, and professionalismSupport all managers (and colleagues) on HR policies and practices that ensure fairness and expediency ensuring that those policies and practices are up to date and best practiceQualifications for the roleIdeally CIPD qualified to level 5 or above or holding an equivalent qualification with a business management focusStrong working knowledge of UK employment lawConfident with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
