(url removed) Position Summary:

Light Commercial Vehicles Powertrain integration Engineer is responsible for engine and gearbox functions integration into the vehicle.

Works with EE and Cross-functional team to develop correct schedule, and execution strategy in accordance to the vehicle milestones, and vehicle stakeholders (platform, product validation. . . ).

Full functioning and integration of driveline systems on Light Trucks, compliant with Regulations, Platform, Brand requirements and KPI targets (cost, quality and timing). Main tasks:

- Define functional and related system requirements deployment, to support the Supplier management, to support project costs control, to deliver results for each GPD milestones, to keep in track timing and open issues.

- Work cohesively as a member of development team, collaborating as needed with other members of the team with the end goal of maximizing quality and delivering on schedule

- Work to support integration of products and systems among all vehicle platforms

- Work to define electronic and electrical requirements and the relevant constraints forthe integration on vehicle (Requirements Elicitation), in terms of functionality, performances, manufacturability and serviceability, functional safety and cybersecurity.

Review the validation of functions and systems under development (Verification and Validation), collaborate with validation teams to define test plans and acceptance criteria, analyze open issues - Support the design and maintenance of manufacturing and diagnostic tools for End-of-line and Customer Service (Configuration/Change Management)

- Prepare function/system level test plans consistent with program requirements, CNHi development processes and recommends processes - Review progress of projects and provides frequent team progress updates to stakeholders, keeping project planning aligned with the vehicle milestones (Project Control)

- Incorporate the engineering safety standards, methodologies and global product development processes into all aspects of project development

- Propose innovations, creates invention disclosures, critiques and advocates proposals for others, propose and develop new design concepts and IP which will advance CNHi product/systems.

Requirements:

- MS/BS Degree in Engineering with emphasis in Electronic with work experience of at least 4-5 years.

- Deep technical knowledge of Driveline systems integration (Engine, automatic transmission. . ) and vehicle dynamics - Knowledge of Design FMEA, ISO26262 Functional Safety, Cyber security principles.

Knowledge of Vehicle Electronic Architectures and Applications, including CAN communication, SAE J1939 protocol, ISO 14229 - UDS diagnostic protocol

- Proficiency in design analysis and experience in systems integration

- Remarkable aptitudes for leadership and team-working; drive and commitment to meet the goals.

Experience in coordinating and managing team resources.

Communication skills to cooperate with technical/management partners inside the Company and other agencies/companies, with particular reference to external customers

- English language:

advanced level

- Availability to national and international business trips for short periods (approx.
