Direct message the job poster from LightScene Studio Lighting Designer, Co-Founder of LightScene Studio About the job We are looking for a highly motivated and creative lighting designer to join our in-house design team in the design sector and work on exciting high-end residential, artistic, and hospitality projects in Italy and around the world. The lighting designer we are looking for should possess not only technical skills but also a highly creative mindset, innovative solutions, refined aesthetic sense, and strong teamwork ability, along with effective collaboration and communication skills to interact with designers, clients, and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Interpret the client brief and collaborate with senior lighting designers and architects to create and develop creative lighting concepts that complement and enhance the design and user experience. Produce lighting sketches, detailed drawings, schedules, and 3D renderings (Lighting Calculation and simulation). Specify high-quality products and equipment in line with the aesthetics and objectives of the project. Independently explore innovative materials and techniques that enhance future designs. Requirements A bachelor/Master's degree in Lighting Design, Product/Industrial Design/Interior Architecture/Spatial Design or equivalent. At least two years of professional experience in lighting design. Proven experience in lighting design within high-end residential/hospitality projects. Good knowledge of material properties and solutions. Ability to think from small to large scales in space. Excellent knowledge of Dialux, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite programs (Id, Ps, and Ai). Interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of meeting high industry standards. Professional level of English. Eligibility to work in Italy without sponsorship. Nice to have Hospitality design experience. Rendering and Animation software skills will be considered a plus. Salary and benefits are competitive and based on candidate experience.
