Job Description

Jetcost is looking for a System Administrator for its metasearch team.

We need smart, passionate and motivated professionals, who would join a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Full administration of the Metasearch Business Unit infrastructure

Contribute to the evolution of a complex hybrid infrastructure

Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during infrastructure maintenance, establish a root cause and form a solution or escalate cases to software engineering teams

Respond and action related alerts from centralized management system to maintain infrastructure health (On call technical support is required)

**Qualifications**:

Essential

3-5 years relevant work experience

Good knowledge of fault-tolerant, highly reliable system design and best practices

Experience in working with on-premise and cloud providers (AWS is preferred)

Fluency in administering the LAMP stack

Fluency in Linux (Debian, CentOS) system administration

Good knowledge of networking (iptables/secgroup, vpn - openvpn/ipsec)

Fluency in working with HAProxy and AWS Elastic LoadBalancer

Good knowledge of automation tools (Puppet is preferred)

Experience in administering MySQL clustering solutions (Galera is preferred)

Experience in working with in-memory databases (Redis is preferred)

Experience deploying and administering Linux in a virtualization environment

MySQL administration and troubleshooting experience

Experience in working with GIT version control system

Experience in working with deploy pipelines (Jenkins, Gitlab CI are preferred)

Fluency in bash scripting

Fluency in English

Desirable
