About The RoleSonder is seeking an experienced Lived Experience Capability Lead to support the ongoing integration of lived experience perspectives.
This role presents a unique opportunity to embed lived experience internally through our workforce, and externally on our client experience to ensure continuous improvement and safe, high-quality services.
The key outcomes of this role will be to attract, develop, and retain a diverse lived experience workforce, promote inclusivity and align initiatives to organisational goals. A brand-new role to elevate the voice and practice of lived experience, this is an exciting opportunity to make your mark at a senior level in the organisation to make a real difference. What You Will DoDrive the implementation and advancement of Sonder's Lived Experience Workforce Strategy. Advocate for recovery-oriented, lived experience culture with a focus on actions to ensure this comes to life. Ownership of the implementation and compliance with Lived Experience Workforce Guidelines and embed best practices. Support and coordinate training and career development pathways for the lived experience workforce. Supervise, mentor, and support the professional development of Peer Practitioners in leadership roles. What You Need To SucceedDemonstrated experience in developing, leading and supporting lived experience practice at an organisational level, including understanding the challenges of implementing these within a mainstream mental health organisation. Demonstrated experience in lived experience practice. Proven experience in leading and implementing the design and delivery of projects, strategic work, and innovative initiatives. Experience in providing lived experience practice supervision to those in leadership roles. Qualifications And Other RequirementsIdentify as a person with lived or living experience. Certificate IV in Peer Work or equivalent qualification with demonstrated experience in a lived experience, Peer Practitioner or Peer Support Worker role. Completion of Peer Supervision Training. Drivers Licence. Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC).
