Are you looking for a challenging and dynamic environment where to build your professional career?
We are looking for a **LMDh Project Management** to join our headquarters at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting hierarchically to the** Head of Motorsport**and interacts transversally with all functions involved in the program in a matrix organizational structure.
You will be responsible to ensure the respect of the Project Targets related to timing, costs, performance and compliance.
You will be responsible for the coordination of all the different company functions and External Service Provider(s) who contribute to the deployment of the program with a 360° view of the activities.
You will support the homologation process collecting the documents coming from IMSA/FIA/ACO and may also act as Chief Engineer for LSC at the track events.
You will be responsible to perform the activities which include but may not be limited to the following:
- Conducting the recurring project-team meeting with the relevant participants from the divisions and external service providers when needed.
- Planning and tracking the project milestone and update the project timing and the deliverables
- Coordinating the activities of the various departments (design, R&D, procurement, finance, sales, marketing, communications and media, etc) according to the project milestones and relative deliverables.
- Coordinating the activity with the different external service-providers in order to meet the project milestones and relative deliverables, including but not limited to:
- Chassis supplier (eg LIGIER)
- Engine supplier (eg Autotécnica)
- Electronics supplier (eg PowerOn)
- Coordinate the planning, organization and execution of LMDh track/indoor testing activity with the Racing Team according to the time plan including the organization of the necessary touchpoints and preparatory and wrap-up meetings.
- Attend the Technical Working Group(s) to provide feedback and collected data to the sporting authorities, analysing the technical and sporting aspect in a pro-active way and liaising with internal departments for required expertise as needed.
- Promote clear and open communication between Squadra Corse, other Lamborghini departments involved in the program, and the external service suppliers to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
- Promote clear and open communication between Squadra Corse and the Racing Team(s), implement task responsibilities matrix (RASIC) and suitable reporting methods.
- Collect information to support the homologation process such as documents, dossier, feedback, homologation/BOP test with IMSA/FIA/ACO for the LMDh.
- Act in a transparent and respectful way at all times ensuring compliance to the code of conduct of the Company.
**About you
- University degree in Mechanical or Aeronautic Engineering
- At least 3-5 years of experience in similar role
- Technical Responsible or Performance Engineer in Motorsport Environment
- R&D Automotive background
- Fully proficient in English, other languages (incl German) are a plus
- Technical knowledge in Motorsport
- Motorsport Technical Regulation knowledge
- Problem solving attitude
