Operations are now seeking a talented Localization Editor, French speaker to join the Localization team.

Some of the essentials for you to know are:

Location: Bologna Zola Predosa/Milano

Type: Permanent contract

Hours: Full-time; 40h per week

Reporting into: Localization Editor Team Leader

The Role:

In this role, you will work closely with other Editors and Localization Project Managers to deliver the best-in-class content for the French market.

You Will:

- Translation, proofreading, and copywriting of content including marketing, product, editorial, functional, SEO, content etc.

into the relevant language using the CAT (Computer Aided Translation) system adopted by the Group

- Collecting, drafting and updating style guides, glossaries and translation memories for the group's stores localized in the relevant language

- Supporting the Search Engine Optimization of the sites for the relevant languages and markets

- Supporting external providers, aligning their work to content guidelines and evaluating their performance

- In-context linguistic quality assurance (LQA) of localized content prior to publication

- Web editing and content management in the relevant language by means of the content management system (CMS)

The type of person we are looking for:

- French: fluent, spoken and written (level C2)

- English: fluent, spoken and written (level C1-C2)

- Italian: fluent, spoken and written (level C1-C2)

- Knowledge of another language is a plus

- Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar position

- Proven knowledge of and/or experience in the fashion world

- Education

- Fashion school or Humanities graduate oriented towards languages or communication

- IT Knowledge

- Familiarity with CAT (Computer Aided Translation) tools and/or CMSs (Content Management Systems)

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

- Soft Skills

- Excellent organizational skills, precision and attention to detail

- Good relational capability, pragmatism, flexibility and dynamism

- Ability to work at fast-paced rhythms
