Job Description:Location Manager - Rented Housing Hours: 32 hours per week Salary: Up to £26, 707 per annum pro rata About the role Working with different individuals every day, a Location Manager's job is incredibly varied.
We connect with our communities in different ways, and when you join the housing team, you'll need a good balance of heart and head to manage property matters, tenancy matters, and relationships with your residents.
The Location Manager role is diverse and involves working with departments across the organisation, so you will need to feel confident taking the lead on managing relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
You will be responsible for:
Managing properties and supporting residents to live independent livesLetting properties, managing rent accounts, dealing with anti-social behaviour, and ensuring repairs are carried outListening to residents and addressing issues before they escalate into complaintsWhen a complaint arises, taking ownership and investigating fully to ensure residents are listened to and kept informedMaintaining resident trust and confidence in Anchor through effective communication, setting expectations, and deliveringManaging the location's budget and service charge accounts to ensure homes are well maintained and repairs are completed to a high standardEnsuring that the location is safe, with all health and safety checks and risk assessments carried out in accordance with policies and proceduresSupporting residents to live independently by working with external agencies such as local authorities, care providers, social workers, and medical professionalsConnecting with residents to encourage inclusion in social events both internally and in the wider communityAre you the one?

Ideally, you will have previous housing or care experience and have worked with vulnerable client groups, but that's not as important as having the right attitude, resilience, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.
