On behalf of our client, a global provider of custom-engineered machinery, we are looking for a:

LOGISTIC & TRANSPORTATION MANAGER:

The Logistic & Transportation Manager will report directly to the Supply Chain Director and he is responsible to plan and coordinate the daily product shipments, with the support of a logistic team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and supervise the shipments from Suppliers/Warehouse to the end-user; Coordinate with logistic team and warehouse contractors; Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments; Monitor and report on transportation costs; Ensure shipping documents are properly filed; Research and suggest cost-effective shipping methods; Negotiate ratewith carriers; Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation; Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements; Handling customs clearance processes; Comply with laws, safety regulations and ISO requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

Master's Degree in Engineering, Logistic or Business Administration; 5+years working experience as a Transportation Manager, Shipping Manager or similar role; English mandatory, other languages skill will be preferential; Solid knowledge of supply chain management; Experience preparing and tracking orders; Strong experience with ERP software (SAP).

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

Excellent organizational skills; Ability to manage, supervise and train staff; Problem solving abilities; Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
