Lead Material Management Team

- Partner with Logistics Manager on budget development and ensuring resources meet budget level

- Design and implement lean processes and systems while following the PDCA cycle

- Define measurable PQDCC goals and objectives for all improvement activities

- Identify and evaluate resource requirements

- Communicate plans, actions and results to the organisation

- Execute company strategy deployment associated with implementation of lean systems, in a fast paced environment

- Promote and ensure lean practices throughout company and external suppliers

- Liaise with operational functional areas; EHS, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain to ensure group value stream performance

- Have deep knowledge of logistics processes

- Have good knowledge of SAP MM module (WM is a plus)

- Have some demonstrable experience in fundamental lean tools and concepts (VSM, 5S, Std Work, Continuous Flow, etc.

)

- Have a demonstrated ability to work successfully in complex and emerging business and project areas, leveraging interpersonal skills and technical skills to optimise results

- Have some experience of managing the transformation, by organising Lean events, projects, and organisational changes necessary to achieve a sustained transformation

- Be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.

)
