About our client

Zanotti is part of the international Daikin corporation and an Italian excellence that has been designing and manufacturing food refrigeration systems for over 50 years.

Based in Pegognaga Mantova, this main production plant sells to its commercial subsidiaries all over the world.

About the role

As Logistic Manager of our plant, your mission will be, to support Sales function assuring the efficiency and continuous improvement of the warehousing administration control and supervise national distribution and export, contributing to the business results and to the strategic objectives, by providing the punctual and precise availability of products and goods.

You will report to the Logistic Manager of Daikin Milano and will drive a team of about 20 people.

Your responsibilities will be the following:

Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders.

Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.

Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment.

Inspect labels, barcodes, and other features of completed orders.

Hire, train, supervise and lead subordinates (receiving clerks, order pickers etc.

).

Control budget of the shipping department without compromising speed or efficiency.

Collaborate with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation to shipment.

Resolve issues regarding shipped orders when/if required.

Act as a liaison between management, carriers, and shipping customers.

Negotiate the price of shipment transportation with carriers and evaluating carrier performance and resolving issues with orders and logistics.

Comply toshipping industry regulations and company policies.

Report to management on activities and issues.

What we require

- Master's Degree in Industrial engineering (preferred)

- Excellent knowledge of both spoken and written English

- Deep knowledge of logistic procedures

- Years of experience in flow of goods in industrial background

- Good communication capabilities

- Proved capacity to drive a team
