Logistic Operations Manager
Our client is a Multinational Manufacturing Company operating in the Capital Goods field, part of a Group with a worldwide presence and a fast growing business. We are looking for a Logistic Operations Manager.
The potential candidate reporting to the Plant Director will manage the whole logistic flow for the Plant, in term of incoming and shipping, the warehouse for labour efficiency, inventory accuracy, quality and cost, inventory analysis and optimization, internal distribution flow optimization according to Lean Manufacturing logic.
He/she will manage the daily KPI management, such as safety, special transport, stock level, costs and related action plan in order to reach the target, and supporting the WCM culture and project.
Furthermore, he/she will manage the Logistic Engineering team and oversee their activity, establishing the most suitable methods for material storage and movement into the Plant. He/she works together with the Plant Manager to define the strategy related to the Logistics area and manages the assigned budget accordingly with it. Our ideal candidate has an Engineering Degree (particular focus on Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent).
He/she has a 6-7 years of experience in a similar process development role, ideally logistics or production/manufacturing environment. He/she has a team working and project management attitudes, interpersonal communication skills, leadership and problem solving skills.
