**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
We are looking for **Logistics Project Manager.
The Logistics Project Manager will be responsible for the project management of all the client related activities for the logistics of Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The resource will be responsible for:
- Manage and coordinate the activities related to all the clients, covering the needs of different stakeholders from the planning phase and during Games Time.
- Support in the definition and management of all levels of services for different client groups such as broadcasters, press, photographers, athletes and team officials (NOC/NPC), official Partners, Olympic family members, etc.
- Manage all logistics aspects of the main projects for the Games: torch relay, antidoping control, medals, arrivals and departures, ceremonies, uniforms, firearms and ammunitions, paralympic transition, etc
- Ensure NOCs/NPCs, OBS and Media Right Holders, Marketing Partners, Olympic Family logistics services coordination and end to end journey requirements for all stakeholders.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and timeline based on FAs requirements ensuring efficient storage layout, including Marketing Partner coordination.
- Coordinate and schedule transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities with logistics providers to meet client demands and internal requirements ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and materials during all phases.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness and analyse client demands to anticipate future logistics needs and make proactive adjustments to the supply chain.
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate activities and optimize the overall supply chain ensuring a high level of customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues related to logistics operations.
- Ensure effective communication and information flow between the logistics team and Logistics Service Providers, including sharing shipment details, order updates, and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with Logistics Service Provider to develop customized solutions that meet specific needs for logistics operation related to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure staffing levels and efficient allocation of resources to meet operational demands during pre-games and Games Time.
- Provide support for the Venue Logistics Operation planning and coordination to ensure adequate level of service in the management of special projects.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree management engineering, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is typically preferred.
However, equivalent experience or specialized training in logistics and events operations management will also be considered.
- Proven experience of more than 8 years in event logistics operations management, preferably with a focus on winter sports logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, resource allocation, and scheduling principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Leadership abilities with experience in managing and leading teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyse data, and make informed decisions to optimize logistics operations and manage priorities.
