Key Results/Accountabilities expected from the role Plan and monitor the transportation of vehicles from compounds to their final destinations, ensuring timely transfers, compliance with regulations, and adherence to service level agreements with MG's transportation partners.

Oversee the proper and efficient loading of vehicles, aligning with expected volumes, assigned routes, and the designated areas for each provider.

Develop and implement action plans to address concentrated transport demands, critical operational challenges, or opportunities to improve time and cost efficiency within territory compounds.

Act as the main point of contact for logistics providers and internal/external stakeholders – ensuring compliance with agreed KPIs and conducting regular performance reviews – and for logistics-related inquiries.

Support daily operational activities and collaborate with relevant departments to define and refine processes and tools for optimal logistics performance.

Manage and monitor supply chain processes, including procurement, transportation, and alignment between production schedules and logistics operations.

Coordinate domestic and international shipments to meet deadlines while ensuring compliance with international trade and customs regulations.

Monitor stock levels, coordinating replenishments to prevent overstocking or shortages, and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency.

Experience & Requirements of the candidate Degree in Engineering, Economics or relative studies.

Previous experience in automotive logistics is a plus.

Excellent knowledge of Office package.

Good knowledge of English both spoken and written.

Availability to travel.
