Logistic Team Leader
What you'll need to have
- Ability to work together as a team and to engage your team members by creating a passion for your plans and the objectives to achieve
- An effective and strategic communication and change management skills, along with a very good relational incisiveness to build trust and communicate in a clear and targeted way with different people in various situations
- Ability to work through others, set priorities, delegate responsibility and give open and honest feedback
- A broader overview on all store operational process and a flexible mindset being able to gather interconnections between commercial and operational areas
- A good analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to communicate in English & Italian
- Ability to communicate in Italian with a basic level of proficiency at least
What you'll be doing day to day
- Work closely with the Logistic Team to secure correct usage of short term capacity of the store in order to maximise efficient logistics operations with the right balance in inbound and outbound volume by considering space, equipment and people
- Influence and lead the team members within the assigned area or responsibility to secure the highest goods availability and enable customer order fulfilment at all times at the lowest possible cost
- Ensure that team members work in compliance with the local legislation relating to health, safety and security and the environment
- Contribute with relevant input and feedback to the logistics action plan and ensure that these actions are implemented in the inbound logistic processes
- Share knowledge of effective and efficient logistic operations within assigned area of responsibility with colleagues and business partners to support their competence development, including understanding of the principles of health and safety in goods
- Secure effective, qualitative and efficient daily logistic operation within the assignedlogistic process(es) in order to guarantee customer shopping experience through quality of products, merchandising and stock accuracy
