CONTEXT

Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as breadth of experience across multiple disciplines.

They partner with hospital management teams and payers to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and optimize operations

**Main purpose of job**:

Reporting to the Service Delivery Lead, the Material Management Analyst (MMA) is responsible for the day to day materials management operations within the clinical setting for the IHS Managed Service.

Managing new product entries and obsolescence and implement initiatives to decrease the obsolescence risk to the IHS portfolio.

Liaising with suppliers (where appropriate) and a third-party framework provider will be a key responsibility to ensure supplier commitments are honored.

Good communication skills are necessary to develop good partnership relationships with key stakeholders.

The Material Analyst will develop actionable plans for improvement and costs savings initiatives within their work environment.

**Main duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

- Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.

- Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e. g. , raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods).

- Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.

- Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct.

- Conducts analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirements.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

**Job Experience

- 3-5 years experience in a Supply Chain environment or hospital working environment

- Lean Sigma a plus

- Worked in International multi-layered matrix organization

- General knowledge of healthcare / hospital practices and standards
