Join us in our exciting quest to build the future home All about the role: We are looking for a full time Category Manager in Logistics to define and manage the sourcing activities of logistics solutions for MA, SDA and WB in BA Europe.
In this role you will work in close collaboration with Operations Logistics, Supply Chain and Sales to ensure best-in-class service level at competitive costs.
In detail you will: Promote a collaborative relationship with key peers fostering standardization of the European contractual setup including (Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, Product Line & Operations).
Design and implement strategies for sourcing of Last Mile Delivery (D2C) services in Europe.
Supplier Relationship Management: ensure proper governance in place by holding a strong commercial relationship with suppliers & stakeholders.
Search alternative and innovative logistics solutions to improve efficiency, promote sustainability and customer satisfaction.
Drive and promote continuous improvement actions by leading activities among the team, stakeholders and suppliers.
Accountability on supplier cost performance & service level.
Plan, organize and drive the best sourcing activities and tenders.
Manage KPI's and ensure compliance to contracted terms both internally & externally.
Provide market insight and relevant information to the organization.
Actively contribute in meetings, projects and events to streamline and improve the European logistics network.
Who you are: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Administration or Economics.
Previous experience in Logistics, Purchasing & Supply chain, Last Mile Delivery Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
Strong leadership skills including leading supplier resources and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage strategic supplier relationships, including relationship building, performance, development, and integration.
Knowledge of supplier processes and cost drivers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Fluent English written and spoken; any other language is an asset.
Where you will be: You will be based in Porcia (PN), Italy, in a modern office setting with other colleagues dedicated to Purchasing Logistics, Supply Chain, and Finance services across Europe.
