**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
We are looking for **Logistics Cluster Coordinator.
The identified resource will be responsible for:
- Develop, implement, manage and operate plans in support of different Clusters in the beginning, thereafter, to be assigned to a specific area.
- Organize, staffs and directs cluster team to manage and execute Logistics operations at all competition and non-competition cluster - related Venues.
- Support to quantifies Cluster (and venues) Logistics needs and Logistics compound requirements.
- Identify inventory and operational requirements at Clusters and implement procedures for asset and material management and control
- Manage internal and external stakeholders in relation to venue deliveries, and logistic needs.
- Keep open dialogue and cooperation with other functional areas to accomplish readiness goals.
- Assist in the development of training programs for Venue logistics managers and staff.
- Create overall policies and procedures for Cluster Logistic operations
- Structure and coordinate Logistics planning and Cluster readiness together with the cluster management team
- Manage and coordinate Bump in and Bump out plans for his cluster.
- Ensure effective communication and information flow between the logistics team and Logistics Providers
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to logistics, such as safety standards, labour law and environmental regulations.
- Ensure staffing levels and efficient allocation of resources to meet operational demands related to Clusters
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Support in the implementation of Master Delivery Schedule (MDS) to arrange vehicle access and booking for each truck/ vehicle that need to enter the Cluster for material delivery.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree management engineering, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is typically preferred. However, equivalent experience or specialized training in logistics and sport events management will also be considered.
- Proven experience of more than 3 years in logistics operations management, preferably with a focus of sports events and Cluster logistics
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, resource allocation, and scheduling principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Leadership abilities with experience in managing and leading teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyse data, and make decisions to optimize logistics operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal teams, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure, adapting to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges.
- Resilience to overcome obstacles and maintain a focus on delivering results.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Italian is a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages are required.
- Excellent skills with Suite MS Office.
- Availability to travel among the north of Italy and possibly be relocated for a about 6 months.
