ABOUT THE POSITION:The EU Logistics Team manages the 3PL activities and cooperates cross-functionally with other functions such as Sales, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Quality, and Finance, supporting sales product initiatives, process improvement, and cost-saving according to SVP's Strategic Principles. Reporting to the Supply Chain-Logistics Europe Director, the Logistics Specialist has the mission to support the rest of the Logistics Team on the entire outbound process, order management activities, distribution process, and reverse logistics.
Additional tasks related to export invoice creation, transfer orders management, and purchase orders management related to EU suppliers could be added to improve and balance the workload within the team members. This role cooperates with the Logistics Outbound Specialist and Logistics Import/Export Specialist on the outbound/inbound processes to share information useful for daily tasks. Specifically, this role will be responsible for:Following the entire distribution process and daily contact with 3PL, located in Poland and Spain, to check the order preparation and transportation activities; monitoring sales orders to prevent the risk of missing revenue. Daily transportation & outbound reporting overview to monitor the service level of 3PL (order preparation, delivery time, accuracy, POD) and constant communication with subsidiaries/Customer Service to keep them informed about their order status. Overseeing the booking and tracking of all outbound shipments, ensuring all orders are delivered safely and timely. Handling claims and root cause analysis with 3PL.
Managing problem-solving with internal customers and the 3PL. Managing return shipments (reverse logistics). Invoice creation for export procedures. Managing transfer orders between 3PL plants, work orders, and kitting according to Demand Planning instructions. Managing the purchase orders to EU suppliers according to instructions received from the Demand Planning Team. The duties and responsibilities outlined in this position may be added to or changed depending on business requirements. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:3+ years' experience in international logistics. Experience with import-export procedures for non-EU countries. Knowledge in order preparation process, pick-pack, goods customization, and domestic and international transportation. Ability to work well in a team environment and a cooperative approach. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize activities. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel. ERP: AS400 experience is a plus. English level: B2-Upper Intermediate.
All communications and meetings are conducted in English. Spanish or German language knowledge is a plus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works in a typical office environment and in a mobile office.
