Logistics Specialist Recordati is looking for a Logistic Specialist who will serve as the main point of contact for our external warehouses in Italy. This role will involve managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth communication and coordination with our external partners. In addition to the operational responsibilities, the candidate will also have the chance to participate in global projects aimed at optimizing our warehousing and distribution network. Key Responsibilities 3PL Management: Manage day-to-day operations with external 3PL partners, ensuring alignment with the company's Last Mile logistics strategy. Manage complaints, stock adjustments and inventory reconciliation. Products availability: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customer service, finance, QA, ) to analyse current operations and align business efforts with goals. Plan and monitor the inventory levels, coordinating replenishment plans, and ensuring optimal stock levels to prevent shortages and delays. Planning & reporting: Manage Purchase order and Budget expenses for warehousing activities. Consolidate supply chain data, perform calculations, and monitor KPIs, Costs and CO2 consumption through power BI. Support local Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) preparation. Improvement projects: Actively contribute and support improvement projects to optimize transportation and logistics processes. Support transition and integration of new distribution models. Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, quality standards and global supply chain strategy. Support definition of 3PL tender requirements (volumes, KPIs, detailed activities). Develop strategies and plans for risk mitigation. Take the lead to kick-off and run projects bringing together all relevant stakeholders.
