As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role inside Logistic team for Livorno site.

You will be responsible to supervise the quality activities of B&P and warehouse ensuring flawless execution and HSE policy.

You will also supervise shipping operations versus Livorno Port.

You will work in tight contact with Logistic team, Procurement, Project planners, Biosecurity providers, Shipping managers and Shipping providers.

You will be accountable for quality, completeness, and preservation activities, collaborating with internal teams, and you will facilitate efficient service delivery for customers.

You will ensure that duties are carried out in compliance with Baker Hughes and Health & Safety practices.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Monitoring logistic provider to ensure On Time transactions and packing closure according to KPIs

- Preventing and managing priorities and criticalities to ensure to meet business targets

- Supporting the execution of risk mitigation plan related to logistic activities supporting supply chains on urgencies and criticalities.

- Partnering with Functions and Quality to support on time issues resolution, cooperating with Procurement and Logistic team to deliver minimizing cost and improving efficiency

- Overseeing critical activities during material transfer and inventory assessment, ensuring quality and HSE

- Conducting visual and quality inspections during the logistic activities as per applicable documentation (including biosecurity process)

- Supervising staging and warehouse area performing regular inspections to detect quality issues and manage resolution

- Managing Non Conformity, Root Cause Analysis, Preservation Inspection Plan completion and routings verification/closure.

- Monitoring and audit all transactions inside ERP, to assure that system and material status are correctly updated

- Being accountable for EHS and Quality targets, leading regular inspections

- Supporting B&P activities, warehouse and staging area management (including biosecurity process and Customer's Inspector visit)

- Supporting Vendor Recovery negotiations providing evidence

- Supporting Interplants & farm-out transportation activities

- Show good experience in Logistics, Operations or Supply Chain

- Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new products and business areas

- Be able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a complex working environment

- Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems

- Show an analytical approach to problem-solving and be motivated and focused on results.

- Be fluent in English (Italian knowledge is also preferred) and hold an EU passport

- Have a technical background, with the ability to influence functional stakeholders and Customer, or Project Management expertise.

- Be able and willing to travel for short customer meetings
