Avnet Abacus LogOn is focused on driving business within a strategically focused customer set working directly with our key suppliers to drive our fulfilment and logistics only model.
As a LogOn Strategic Account Manager, your role will be primarily commercial and focus on growing through our supply chain capabilities and supplier relationships the business within a set of key automotive customers customers.
In this role, you will:
- Stratgeic Customer Development
- Achieve sales and profitability goals for assigned area / customers.
- Provide best individual service to customers
- Develop and maintain customer business plan for each assigned account
- Identify new sales opportunities at prospective customers with the Avnet Abacus core team
- Cultivate and grow relationships at all levels of the account.
- Negotiate new contracts with customers in cooperation with Sales Management (RSM/Country Director) and Legal department.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems.
- Focus Supplier Development
- Build regional and EMEA wide relationships with our focus suppliers
- Identify opportunities to grow LogOn supplier fulfilment business within existing and new customer base
- Value position the LogOn model with suppliers to expand LogOn reach
- Coordinate supplier opportunities outside of your region within the LogOn EMEA team.
- Operational Delivery
- Maintain, track and update respective Company opportunity management systems / databases if available.
- Implement complex multi-site engagements and frameworks in collaboration with our key suppliers
- Negotiate terms and conditions of sales according to Avnet policies (i. e.
payment terms, delivery, freight, packaging, special handling, handling charges, etc.
).
What we are looking for:
- Minimum experience required is typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent
- Fluent English is a prerequisite, Italian and Spanish would be advantageous.
- Experience in sales required, preferably within the electronics and component industry.
- Knowledge of solution & value selling, ideally at all levels of seniority from day to day contacts to senior level decision makers.
- Knowledge of supply chain models and methodology.
- Ability to present and communicate in a very professional manner.
- Very good negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
