Language Quality Specialists are involved in all aspects of coordinating the language function in a multiple language vendor environment.

The team ensures delivery of cost-efficient and quality-driven language function by understanding the needs and expectations of our clients.

This role will focus on Life Sciences.

Responsibilities Responsibility for Program qualityLeading a team of suppliersSupplier training, onboarding and tools supportQuality risk assessment and prevention, planning, monitoring and managementDrives client-facing quality processes and improvementsQuery ManagementLQA and TQA recommendations, handling and rebuttalsClient language review feedback handling and rebuttalsInitiating quality improvement plans and offboarding decisionsPreparation for and occasional participation in quality audits (ISO, client, internal)Test translations/reviewsSource content analysisCreation of test translation/review kitsRequirements 5 years + Language experience in the localisation industryExperience in the Life Science sectorExperience in client communication and managementAble to work in a geographically dispersed teamDegree or Masters in translation, linguistics or similar educational backgroundFluent English plus 1-2 additional languagesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProblem solverExpert knowledge of standard CAT packages, TMS and other common tools (XTM, Lokalise, Smartling, SDLX, JIRA, Termweb+)Time management, organizational and prioritisation skillsExcellent knowledge of MS Office packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Solid understanding of how quality management feeds into client satisfaction and delivery targetsSolid understanding of quality in the context of business needs
