The Analyst will be part of Société Générale CIB M&A team based in Milan.
Tasks and responsibilities: Building complex financial models and completing valuation, mergers and other analytical exercises Drafting presentations for M&A transactions or strategic client dialogue Working closely with the rest of the team to create client deliverables and meet ad-hoc client requests Closely collaborating with various industries, countries, and other products' colleagues during origination and execution stages Performing industry and company research to support business development and on an ad-hoc basis Profile required Studies & experience: A well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution Prior work experience in Investment Banking at a recognized Investment Bank or advisory boutique Language skills: Native/advanced level of Italian Proficiency in English Technical, operational & Soft skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications Technically proficient in financial modeling (DCF, Multiples, Merger model, LBO model) Analytical approach to problem-solving High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong work ethic Strong presentation and communication skills Good interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team as well as independently Why join us Société Générale Italy is a multi-category bank offering every employee the possibility to have several careers in a professional career path.
