Machine Learning/Data-Science Software Engineer
Machine Learning/Data-Science Software Engineer CompuGroup Medical is a world-wide company playing in the healthcare industry.
In Italy, it is leading the market of ERP software for pharmacies, with more than the 50% of the market share. The Software Developer plays a key role in this international project in the software systems' design, development, testing and maintenance activities.
He is responsible for making specialized and high-quality software for CGM customers.
The Software Developer is in charge of the entire development process for a software program.
Participate in design and refinement meetings to develop, test and debug programs to meet business needs.
Has strong knowledge of standards, practices and procedures.
Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
He also has good experience in Agile frameworks and popular coding language.
What you will do:You are responsible for designing, implementing and deploying machine learning and statistical models for time-series forecastingYou comprehensively secure… your results via unit tests and defensive programming techniquesYou are responsible for all baseline testing and developer-facing documentation by using Jira and ConfluenceYou have a good understanding of the agile mindsetWhat you will bring:MustProblem solving mindset, aligned with business goals.
This is more important than your current skill-setPrevious experience in the field of Data-Science and Machine LearningBeing able to estimate the computational requirements for a production environmentTech-Stack related5+ years of professional experience and have proficiency in working with Python and the Python ecosystem.
(Jupyter notebooks, Pytest, Virtualenvs, Poetry etc…)MLOps with Apache Airflow, or similar data orchestration frameworksExperience with at least one of TensorFlow, Pytorch, Facebook ProphetExperience with Docker and Docker ComposeTeam player – enthusiastic with the ability to guide juniors and coordinate the team's workflowAppreciatedGood verbal, written, and presentation skills in Italian and EnglishExperience of working with a modern cloud infrastructureOOP, Test Driven Development (TDD), Test containersUnderstanding of modern AI approach is a plusFeeling confident with social AI platform like Hugging Faces or Kaggle is a plusSummaryLocation: BresciaType: Full time CompuGroup Medical provides software and communications solutions that assist doctors, dentists, general practitioners, and clinics.
