**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026**is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
We are looking for **Main Media Centre Logistics Specialist.
The MMC Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating logístical and organizational operations within the Main Media Centre (MMC) to ensure an efficient and well-structured working environment for accredited media and broadcasters.
The role includes planning, execution, and monitoring of operational activities throughout all event phases, including setup (bump-in), operations, and teardown (bump-out), ensuring compliance with the timelines and operational standards set by the Organizing Committee.
**General Responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement, and manage operational and logístical plans for the Main Media Centre, ensuring alignment with the overall cluster Master Plan and the Games.
- Ensure the efficient functioning of the MMC by managing workspaces, operational flows, and logístical needs for media and broadcasters.
- Facilitate communication and coordination with all functional areas involved (e. g. , Press Operations, Broadcast, Technology, Security, Transport) and service providers.
- Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including safety standards, operational regulations, and emergency management.
**Specific Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate the reception, installation, and management of equipment required for media activities.
- Support the management of journalist, photographer, and broadcaster flows, ensuring smooth and orderly access to workspaces.
- Implement and oversee the distribution system for materials and resources (e. g. , publications, supplementary accreditations, technological equipment) within the MMC.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the proper functioning of technological and connectivity infrastructures for the media.
- Supervise setup (bump-in) and teardown (bump-out) activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and operational quality.
- Manage relationships with key MMC stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact for logístical and organizational operations.
- Provide support and training to operational staff, ensuring a high level of competence and operational readiness.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in managing logístical and organizational operations for large-scale events, preferably in media-related or sports venue contexts.
- In-depth knowledge of media support operations, including workspace management, equipment handling, and services for broadcasters.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary team management skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with different functional areas and stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of logistics management software and MS Office suite.
- Languages: Fluent in Italian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities under pressure.
