Feel the Olympic and Paralympic energy joining us at Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, leaving a mark in sport history!BREAK THE ICE!Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion, and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. We are driven by the following values: respect, determination, legacy, engagement, and sustainability. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina, and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. PositionThe candidate will be responsible for the following activities:Support in developing MOC operating and readiness planSupport in developing MOC policies and proceduresCoordinate FAs participation in MOCSupport in managing MOC Issue Management SystemImplement MOC specific readiness and training activitiesCoordinate with functional area leads to ensure readiness activities are aligned with overall event objectivesMonitor progress and provide regular updates for readiness activitiesSupport in managing MOC team and activities during Games TimeMonitor event operations in real-time and manage responses to any issues or disruptionsConduct regular briefings and debriefings with relevant stakeholders to ensure situational awarenessMonitor and manage incident reports, ensuring timely and appropriate responsesOversee the operation of communication, surveillance, and event management systems within the MOCPrepare and submit detailed reports on MOC operations and incidentsProvide post-event analysis and recommendations for future improvementsRequirementsBachelor's degree in economics, business administration or related disciplinesMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in major event management and operations center rolesAbility to coordinate inputs, requirements and demands on numerous constituencies into a cohesive effortAbility to simplify, synthesize and build powerful reports and presentations to support the programmeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong project management and organizational skillsPro-active in flagging problems and proposing solutionsAbility to remain calm and make decisions under pressureTrack record in working with different stakeholdersAdvanced user of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)Excellent writing and speaking skills in Italian and EnglishOther informationFondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is committed to building an inclusive and diversified working environment, striving to guarantee equal opportunities for all workers (L. 903/77) and promote the integration into its workforce of persons with disabilities (L. 68/99).
