Mainframe Support Administrator (Nighttime, Onsite) Job Number: 25-00020 Location: Columbia, SC Onsite Flexibility: Onsite Job Description We're looking for a Mainframe Support Administrator for an onsite role in Columbia, SC. This is a nighttime position that will be onsite from 10pm – 7am. No travel is expected but there will be some weekend work from time to time. Key Responsibilities: Monitor host systems and perform JCL and CICS troubleshooting Identify and resolve system performance issues using monitoring tools Process customer service requests including claim strips, claim copies, and claim reprocessing Track incidents and catalog items using ServiceNow Provide efficient host support and quickly learn new monitoring tools Skills & Qualifications: Ability to obtain a low-level U. S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U. S. citizenship 4 years of technical experience with systems analysis, design, and/or programming Experience with host application support, DB2, and IMS Knowledge of scripting in VBA or PowerShell, Endevor, Freeze Frame, MQ, and Splunk is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or other job-related degree The hourly rate for this position is $42. 13.
