Position Summary We are looking for a Maintenance & Technical Service Manager to join our team based in Biassono (MB). He/she will manage the maintenance and technical department; delivering both reactive and proactive services in order to minimize downtimes; ensuring that services are delivered with the highest level of efficiency possible, also ensuring strict adherence to existing procedures and quality and safety requirements. Duties To develop and implement the best maintenance strategies in accordance with internal procedures to improve plants' reliability and productivity. To plan and supervise maintenance and technical activities. To prepare a preventive maintenance and periodical review plan through faults analysis and their potential impact on the process/customer. To develop, implement and manage KPIs. Carry out daily and weekly performance checks to ensure services are delivered properly. To manage all the activities related to the installation of new equipment/systems. To manage the disposal of obsolete materials in a safe manner in accordance with disposal laws and requirements. To manage external personnel and contractors. To ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety and Environmental regulations. To ensure all personnel are aware and compliant with Health and Safety requirements. To manage spare parts availability in accordance with the 5S program, ensuring good stock levels at all times. To cooperate with other departments to carry out investigations on equipment to define NCs root cause. To make sure activities aimed at verifying quality of equipment/sites are carried out in due time in accordance with procedures. To guarantee technical assistance 24h, 365 days a year. To cooperate both with Technical and Production departments to introduce and develop solutions. To produce and submit management documentation on time. To monitor expenses and check the Budget. To guide staff promoting continuous improvement, innovation, and corrective actions. To keep, motivate and improve the quality of the staff. To ensure personnel are suitable for business and customers' needs. To ensure personnel are properly trained and suitable for the position covered. Maintaining and improving employees' motivation and skillset by assigning them objectives and projects, periodically monitoring and reviewing performances and results. Education Degree Bachelor's Degree Master's Degree in Engineering Management or Engineering General Experience and Competencies 3 years of relevant experience. Electrical/electronic and mechanical skills. Leadership skills for leading a team, managing performance. Developing and monitoring KPIs. Ability to (re)process data. English language – speaking and writing. Knowledge of MS Office. Availability to travel.
