Overview Maintenance Associate I | HIRING IMMEDIATELY | Greenville, SC Available Shift: 7pm-7am APPLY ONLINE Compensation: $29. 85 an hour Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increases Eligible for monthly bonus based upon plant productivity Benefits: Medical (Comprehensive PPO, two HRA Plans and an HSA plan) Dental (basic and comprehensive coverage) Vision (basic and premier coverage) Prescription drug coverage 401K with a 6% company match (Eligible to participate from day one (1) with 100 % vesting in all company provided funds immediately) New Hire Wellness Bonus (see plan details) Healthcare and Dependent day care flexible spending accounts Livongo diabetes program Corporate discounts Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform or assist with all major and minor electrical repairs including 480V 3-phase motor repairs/installation, motor starter circuit repairs, VFD drives, photo-optic sensing devices, proximity switches, E-Stop circuitry, and ground fault detection in accordance with Pactiv's "Electrical Safety Program". Utilize precision measuring tools/devices, hand tools, and testing instruments (Amp meter, Ohm meter, testing lamp, megger, etc. ) for electrical equipment. Read and interpret schematics and basic electrical symbols. Understand electrical theory including basic ohms-law application. Troubleshoot maintenance problems throughout the plant with a major emphasis on electrical issues, including A. C. and D. C. drives, PLCs, and basic motor control circuits. Mechanical Duties: Basic mechanical skills with pneumatics and hydraulic systems. Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment as needed. Knowledge of mechanical devices with skills in repairing mechanical equipment. Examine mechanical equipment to diagnose problems. Disassemble, repair/replace, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment including motors, conveyors, pumps, belts, and chains. Read mechanical prints and technical data during the installation and repair of equipment, including PI&D drawings. Qualifications Qualifications: 4 years' equivalent experience in an industrial environment. Able to operate forklift and high-lift equipment; welding experience desired. High degree of mechanical ability and aptitude with proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment. Basic computer skills required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with little to no supervision. Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
