Your Responsibilities Sandvik Coromant is looking for an experienced maintenance coordinator to join the maintenance team at Rovereto Production Unit. In this role, under general direction of the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating paperwork and activities of the Maintenance Department and for assigning tasks and monitoring staff at work.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be the following:
Ensuring that staffing and maintenance operations fulfill the business needs; Implementing strategies based on a robust understanding of the production environment; Applying continuous improvement concepts within Performance Management; Identifying improvement areas, suggesting corrective actions and monitoring implementation in the organization; Supporting the development of investment plans; Developing the yearly budget, monitoring ongoing expenses and tracking cost savings initiatives; Working on competence development and staffing within the department; Ensuring compliance with all employment, health and safety laws; Managing Work Order System; Creating reports to measure performance of the Maintenance System; Maintaining and improving the Preventative Maintenance System; Managing, organizing, and updating relevant data using database applications; Communicating relevant information both internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations; Developing solid understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions; Working in a cross-functional context with other departments in order to gather required information and influence decisions and actions. About You We are looking for an experienced maintenance coordinator, focused on innovation and the future, with the motivation and passion to contribute and add value to our Maintenance system. We are looking for the following requirements and competences:
High school diploma; At least 3 years' experience in the manufacturing sector with metal-cutting and cutting tools knowledge; Experience in NC programming and software simulation (e. g. : Mazatrol SmoothX, Siemens Sinumerik 840D); Knowledge of CAD/CAM software, competences with Mastercam will be considered a plus; Active knowledge of operating CNC machines and NC programming; Excellent team player; Creative, adaptable to changes, every day learner; Ability to continuously drive self-improvements; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Good organizational skills and detail-oriented; Good analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks; Good English language level both written and verbal; IT skills (Windows, Office 365 apps, e. g. Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, Forms, Teams, etc. ). Location: Rovereto -TN- (Italy)
