Overview:

Maintenance Manager of Kemin Cavriago will have the responsibility to assure and oversee the entire maintenance activities in this production site.

In these maintenance activities are included: maintenance of buildings, maintenance of technological equipment and auxiliaries, maintenance of infrastructural resources to assure water/gas/electricity supply to the site.

The principal purpose of the Maintenance Manager is to provide daily leadership for their respective maintenance department.

This includes responsibility for the performance of all duties of the respective maintenance processes.

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the support to the plant through maintenance and repair of equipment to assure maximum available up time

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for providing guidance and leadership for the day-to-day functions of the maintenance technicians

- Create, develop, and adjust accurately preventive maintenance plans for equipment and buildings

- Assure execution of Preventative Maintenance and repairs within established timelines

- Responsible for execution of urgent repairs

- Responsible for leading complex improvements and maintenance projects

- Must be able to train and develop Maintenance Technicians

- Responsible for providing advanced technical training to maintenance technicians, as needed

- Must be available to be on-call and provide phone assistance

- Coordinate external resources/providers, as needed

- Participate in safety improvements and actively participate in safety teams

- Responsible for reporting and tracking on maintenance functions, analyses of down-times and coordinate the down-time decreasing program in continuous way

- Managing maintenance expenses and cost reduction, assessment of needed resources and budgeting expenses in a proper way

- Responsible for tracking maintenance inventory

- Ensure compliance with Safety (Personal, Process and Food Safety), GMP, SOPs, and Code Standards

- Provide input on SOPs and Preventive/Predictive Maintenance programs

- Responsible for complex maintenance including welding, electrical, HVAC, etc.

- Provide input with Engineering team on various process improvement and the installation of equipment

- Responsible for troubleshooting breakdowns and correcting problems

- Provide a support as needed for machinery assembly and disassembly

Qualifications:

- Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve.

- Chemistry degree or Engineer Process Technology preferred, or equivalent by experience

- Maintenance department management experience from 5 years and more at a manufacturing location

- Experience in agriculture, food and chemical industry will be an advantage

- Fluent in Italian.

English at pre-intermediate and higher level is required

- Structured, high level of planning and time management skills

- Advanced project management skills

- Complex Technical skills, including machine repair, piping, machine rigging, HVAC, etc.

- Complex electrical troubleshooting skills

- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.

- Computer literate: Office, M3 (or SAP) is a plus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
