Maintenance Manager
Maintenance Manager As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and technical department, delivering both reactive and proactive services.
Your primary goal is to minimize downtime while ensuring the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and safety in all operations.
You will also ensure strict adherence to existing procedures and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to enhance plant reliability and productivity.
Plan and supervise maintenance and technical activities, coordinating both internal teams and external contractors.
Prepare and manage preventive maintenance plans, conducting fault analyses to minimize impact on processes and customers.
Optimize workforce utilization by defining shifts and organizing on-call services.
Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure satisfactory performance.
Conduct regular performance checks to ensure service delivery meets expectations.
Oversee the installation of new equipment and systems, from specification to supplier management and installation.
Safely manage the disposal of obsolete materials in compliance with legal and environmental requirements.
Supervise external personnel and contractors, ensuring compliance with legal and internal guidelines.
Enforce company policies and procedures, regularly communicating compliance trends to supervisors.
Health, Safety, and Quality: Ensure all operations comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
Maintain a safe workplace, promptly addressing any safety-related issues.
Keep all Health and Safety procedures valid and up-to-date, ensuring personnel are adequately trained and compliant.
Manage spare parts inventory in line with the 5S program, maintaining adequate stock levels.
Collaborate with other departments to investigate equipment issues and identify root causes.
Ensure timely quality checks on equipment and sites, in accordance with procedures.
Provide 24/7 technical assistance through on-call services.
Requirements: Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management and performance oversight.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and monitor KPIs.
Proficient in data processing and analysis.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is required.
Solid knowledge of MS Office applications.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
