NewCold Piacenza is NewCold's automated cold storage facility.
It will be operated to support the production and supply chain activities of leading food processors in the region.
The empowered NewCold Piacenza operations team is responsible for safely operating and maintaining the cold store and providing excellent logistics services to our customers.
Main Responsibilities: Ensure all electrical and mechanical systems are maintained and functioning to a high level to maximize operational efficiency (e. g. , cooling system, conveyors, cranes, etc.
)Respect maintenance plans according to the priority indicated by the maintenance coordinatorUpdate records of maintenance tasks completed and ensure all routine works are checkedReport any problems to the managerMaintain a good inventory of engineering spare parts, tools, and equipment according to weekly plans receivedRespond efficiently to breakdown conditions to minimize equipment downtimeLiaise with maintenance suppliers to identify the impact of breakdown eventsUnder breakdown conditions, advise management teams about options to solve issuesAbility to manage height operations and rescueAlways work safely and notify any safety problemsFollow all procedures according to legislation and the company QHSE policies and working instructionsBe available to provide support for structural site maintenance (e. g. , doors retrieval, panels, ramps, hydraulics, green areas, etc.
