You'll conduct regular inspections, apartment make-ready, routine maintenance, and come up with ideas for preventative measures we can use to maximize the life of our properties and minimize safety risks. ResponsibilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and residentsKeep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last servicedPerform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairsDevelop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risksInspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairsTake additional maintenance requests as assignedQualificationsAdvanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques2+ years of maintenance experienceExcellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detailNeeds to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requestsKnowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systemsCompensation$18 - $20 hour
