Overview:

The primary focus of the Maintenance Technician is to support the production

efforts of the plant through maintenance and repair of equipment to assure maximum available

up time.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for welding, working with blueprints, and having

machining proficiency.

This position is also responsible for the fabrication and installation of new

processes that are being introduced into the production arena

**Responsibilities**:

With mínimal supervisory oversight

Solving technical issues in the factory of all origins (mechanical, electrical, buildings, utilities,

others, . . . )

If relevant, electrical adjustments and repairs to the existing installations, appliances and

buildings

building and installing smaller electrical new construction installations

performing preventive maintenance and calibration of weighing and measuring devices.

maintenance of forklift trucks and steam boilers

implement and supervise projects and filling tasks arising from umbrella projects or

improvement projects.

Provide input with Engineering team on various process improvement and the installation of

equipment.

Responsible for troubleshoot breakdowns and correcting problems.

Machinery assembly and disassembly

GMP Compliance

Must be able to follow all safety requirements.

May need to be available to be on-call.

Qualifications:

- Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve.

- Time management skills.

- Advanced Technical skills, including: machine repair, piping, machine rigging, HVAC, etc.

- Advanced electrical troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
