Anticipate and react to customer needs, provide technical leadership, and support the European commercial team.

- Support and occasionally provide customer training and direct support.

- Work with the Marketing and Brand Management to run sales campaigns, exhibitions, and industry events & support NPI's

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Education

Degree in Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology or a related field (equivalent experience also considered, Masters or PhD

preferred)

Experience

- Several years' microbiology laboratory experience, with previous experience in customer-facing roles preferred.

Strong commercial savvy with a consistent track record of working within or closely with commercial teams/marketing/product

management

Previous experience of leading technical teams would be desirable; however, full support will be given to transition to a managerial role.

- Experience in communicating technical materials in written and verbal form

- Shown history of leading customer concerns and resolving technical issues.

- High level of understanding of quality matters and extensive experience of working with our quality and manufacturing teams
