As such, we are now recruiting for the position of Manager COE Planning, as part of our new Supply Chain CoE in Bologna, Italy!
**The role -
This role sits in the Supply Chain Excellence team and, with global coverage, is responsible to develop and govern process and system standards across the global Supply Chain organization, addressing functional needs and matching the best external SC practices applicable for PMI SC.
**Your 'day to day' -
**Working Standards for Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Scheduling, MRP -
- Responsible for the ownership and definition of listed standards for the Global Supply Chain function (all product categories, channels and geographical locations).
- Define and oversee the implementation of listed standards in Proof-of-Concept phase.
- Upon validation, ensures global implementation and standardization in cooperation with relevant functions.
**Continuous Improvement & Monitoring -
- Ensures that measurable metrics to monitor adherence to established standards are in place.
- Based on assessment of adherence, identify trends and corrective actions or adjustment of standards.
- Assess impact of new product/affiliate introductions or changes on existing standards and where applicable, advice management on required adjustments.
- Provide guidance and support to the Supply Chain teams for the deployment of enhanced standards.
- Collect and funnel functional requirements for standard change.
**Supply Chain Digital governance and Performance Management
- Based on the working standards, defines the requirements to be addressed via digital solutions enhancements, for operational and reporting, collaborating with SCE Digital team.
- Captures relevant enhancement in digital area that are impacting process setup, by adjusting relevant working standards and ensures those are translated in relevant training documents.
- With SnPD, jointly ensure right definition of business and process performance indicators and ensure that those are captures/corresponding to established standards and are also part.
**Supply Chain Best Practices
- Ensures internal benchmark across different SC planning teams (regional or category wise), to identify improvement potential.
**Communication & Relationship
- Influence and advise SC leadership team (in scope) on the best practices trends and improvement opportunities.
- Establish strong relationships with functional teams to maximize knowledge, keep up with business trends and translate into the capability building requirements.
**Transformational Projects
- Support process of identification and development of key projects in area of Planning.
- Project management for assigned transformational projects, up to medium complexity.
- Work with IT for global digital portfolio streamlining and deliver cost reduction on IT landscape.
- Manage existing digital solutions, product backlog & versions. Manage on-going & new digital projects.
**Who we're looking for**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Business or similar related fields. Additional Supply Chain certifications desirable.
- 8+ years of working experience in Supply Chain & Operations preferably in FMCG Industry
- Experience in leading and delivering large scale transformational projects and working standards.
- People management experience.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain end to end processes.
- Business process modelling.
