Job Description We are currently looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our team in Italy with expertise in the area of Mobile Messaging (SMS, OTT Messaging including WhatsApp, Push Notification, RCS Messaging etc. ) and its applications to communication solutions. The Solutions Engineering team plays a critical role in driving business and revenue growth by working alongside our Sales organization to position Kaleyra-s products to address our customers' needs. In this role, you-ll combine your exceptional communication skills, technical aptitude and creative thinking to develop value propositions for our products and implement targeted pre-sales presentations to our customers. Working directly with our Sales, Account Management and Product teams, you-ll create and present demos of Kaleyra-s latest products to showcase how these solutions can meet client needs. You will also be responsible for driving responses to ITTs/RFIs/RFPs, as well as the delivery of unsolicited proposals. This means you-ll be interacting closely and frequently with our customers on both technical and non-technical levels to ensure superior customer satisfaction and help close business. Confident and polished, you bring a demonstrated record of successfully preparing and presenting technical material to both business and technical audiences. You must demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter; perform under pressure, and use the continued application of common sense. Responsibilities: Proactively and effectively identify customer needs, understand business issues and drivers behind specific requests. Build & deliver custom presentations & demonstrations to customers and prospects by matching specific client business requirements into effective technical solutions. Design technical solutions, which include creating prototypes and proofs of concept. Assist sales team with RFI and RFP responses. Present prototypes, demos and proofs of concept to a wide variety of audiences, which may include C-level executives, marketing professionals and engineers. Share customer feedback with Product Management, Marketing & Management teams. Lead discovery discussions with customers and internal technical resources and be able to convert learnings into a statement of work. Requirements At least 5 years of technical sales or field sales experience (sales engineering or professional consulting experience is preferred). At least 3 years of hosted messaging applications experience. Strong technical background in Mobile technologies such as SMS, OTT Messaging including WhatsApp for Business, Push Messages, IP Messaging. Some technical proficiency in Business Messaging technologies such as Email and IVR. Technical background in Web technologies such as HTTP, SOAP, REST, HTML, XML, CRM. Proven ability to adapt your presentations to the technical level of the audience, and comfort with presenting technical materials to large groups. Working knowledge of relational database administration (Oracle preferred) is desirable. Proficient coding skills in languages such as HTML, XHTML, WML, Javascript and Python is desirable. Fluency in both English and Italian is a must, with Spanish also desirable. Some travel may be required. J-18808-Ljbffr
