Job DescriptionThe Manager UX Research, Legal and Regulatory, reporting to the Director of UX/CX Research, will be responsible for managing a highly talented team of User Researchers supporting the Global Legal and Regulatory business of Wolters Kluwer. ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Team ManagementManage and mentor a global team of user researchers, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative team culture that promotes knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement across different time zones and regions. Set clear goals and expectations for team members, aligning their work with the company's strategic priorities. Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new research talent, ensuring diversity and a range of expertise in the team. Research strategy and Execution:Collaborating with Leaders in Product Management, UX Design, and Engineering, define the long-term vision and strategy for user experience research for the segment, aligning it with business objectives and goals. Partner with Divisional Directors to drive Research and product strategy from a user driven perspective. Develop and drive standardized research methodologies and best practices that can be adapted from global strategies to local country-specific needs. Work with staff to synthesize trends across research initiatives, identifying cross-market themes and actionable insights. Stay at the forefront of AI technology research methodologies, integrating new tools and approaches into the research process. Lead efforts to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, translating complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that inform product strategy. Disseminate research findings and trends to relevant stakeholders, including product managers, designers, engineers, and leadership, ensuring insights are translated into user-centered product decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research priorities with product roadmaps, ensuring a consistent user experience across markets. Present research insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, making a compelling case for user-driven decisions in product development. Advocate for the value of user research across the organization, helping stakeholders understand the role of user research in creating successful AI-enabled products. Industry awareness:Staying up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in user experience research.
Provide thought leadership and guidance on emerging UX trends and innovations. Keep up to date with the latest UX practices, innovations and tools. Actively explore AI trends with regard to both software products as well as research processes. Share experiences and learning with others on the team. RequirementsAt least 7 years of experience. Significant experience working with senior clients, stakeholders, and developers. Experience in affecting large culture change that drives business performance. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Experience working in a Lean/Agile development environment. Excellent time and project management skills.
