Your 'day to day'
As Manager IT Consumer, you will be part of Information Technology department for Philip Morris International in Italy and will be reporting to the Manager IT Italy.
The position will be based in Rome.
A key responsibility will be manage the IT Consumer and Commercial Systems team on all systems solutions delivery ensuring associated services required are implemented in the most effective way, by leveraging central PMI information technology while ensuring high level of customer satisfaction.
In this role, the Manager IT Consumer will promote and share the global portfolio and offer differentiated consumer experience.
More specifically, maintain and promote understanding of Global IT offering and roadmap in order to provide IT services to cover local business needs.
Finally, he/she will build and maintain strong relationships with business units, central functions and cluster partners.
Actively collaborate with all entities in order to guarantee that business requirements are met in an efficient way and engage with PMI IT Sub-platform Owner to ensure valid local needs are taken into consideration in the evolution of the platforms
Specific responsibilities include:
- Coordinate IT Services delivery in an optimum way (timely, cost effective, secure, stable, reliable and user-friendly, both from IT and user perspective), according to agreed service levels.
Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of service management practices to maximize operational efficiency.
- Drive the project portfolio within agreed scope, budget, resources and timing.
Identify future service owner and define service delivery model and transition to service provider.
Ensure that project documentation is delivered according to the correct methodology (PMP or Agile).
- In projects, ensure /contribute to: - quality increase and risk mitigation;
- project KPI's (scope, risk, financials, plan) definition and tracking;
- contingency and deployment plans definition;
- complex project issues resolution.
- Anticipate requirements for the affiliate IT Plan and Budget preparation.
Integrate and analyse information from direct reports on affiliate requirements and provide final input to head of function for final consolidation.
- Drive P&C (HR) processes in terms of IT organization planning, recruitment, assessment and development of people, skills and competencies.
Support the IT Manager in building an adaptable, flexible and agile IT organization that attracts, develops and retains the best global talent in order to deliver IT required by PMI, currently and in the future.
Who we're looking for:
- University degree in STEM with focus on Computer Sciences / Information Systems
- Additional certificates, degrees or experience in Project Management & Service Management
- 8 to 12 years in delivering and supporting system solutions in large and multinational company
- Experience in Project Management and Service Management
- Understanding of key IT delivery and business processes
- Proven managerial experience focused on leading and coaching others
- Knowledge of commercial functions
- Business & Commercial Acumen

- Able to work in Matrix environment

- Fluent in English and Italian nice to have
