**What You Will Do In Your Role**:

- Promoting EH&S awareness throughout the operations area, ensuring compliance with all legislative and Group standards.

- Proposing improvement plans to ensure the efficiency of production processes and the compliance with the quantitative and qualitative parameters required by the customer, as well as to maintain a high level of punctual deliveries.

- Monitoring and managing production processes to achieve the required targets of Quality, Efficiency and Machine Utilization.

- Ensuring effective management of production planning department aligning it with customer needs and operations objectives.

- Leading projects to reduce non-Quality costs, helping to spread the culture of Zero Defects and the use of specific methodologies (8-D method, problem solving, involvement and focus to Quality, etc.

)

- Driving accountability to deliver results through Operational Excellence approaches and Molex Operating System, with support from global teams.

- Driving cost reduction programs through process redesign, digital factory, and technology in collaboration with engineering groups and ensure effective spending to maximize operational efficiency and productivity.

- Building and managing a close-knit and winning team of supervisors, guaranteeing them support and growth, favouring their self-actualization.

- Identifying training and growth needs and related gaps for direct reports and in collaboration with HR, intervene to fill them.

- Carrying out constant coaching to collaborators on all management and organizational aspects that require improvement.

- Instilling sensitivity and knowledge to the team about our corporate culture, values, and principles.

- Promoting change to improving the production processes, instilling the culture of transformation and continuous improvement.

- Encouraging innovation and experimentation to improve existing processes and organizational practices, directly involving team of supervisors and production staff.

**The Experience You Will Bring**:

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Engineering, Business Management or Economy or equivalent knowledge

- Appropriate experience, coming from structured production companies with series production.

- Strong knowledge of the management of manufacturing processes.

- Capability to manage a team with leadership, able to motivate, delegate and control.

- Managing team favouring empowerment and self-actualization of the members; strong passion and motivation to cover the position.

Strong communication skills at different level.

Molex is looking for an Operation Manager who will be ensuring the realization of production volumes according to schedule and in compliance with the required quality standards, production times and costs, optimizing the assigned resources and always ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The position is responsible of the management of Operations area of Molex Padua.

Travel availability is required for the position.

The role will coordinate 6 production departments, warehouse, shipping department, tooling, and Production Planning.
