Manager System Support
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager System Support to join our dynamic team. The Manager System Support will be responsible for overseeing the system support operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our company's technology systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the system support team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations. Develop and implement strategies to improve system support processes and procedures with a focus on maximizing efficiency and reducing downtime. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve any issues to minimize disruptions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain new systems and technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Develop and maintain system support documentation including standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements and make recommendations for system improvements. Oversee the maintenance and upgrades of hardware and software systems ensuring they are in line with industry standards and best practices. Manage vendor relationships and contracts, negotiating pricing and service agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the system support team. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 9 years of experience in system support with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems with experience in implementing and maintaining complex systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving with a strong attention to detail. Familiarity with ITIL and other industry best practices. Experience with cloud-based systems and services is preferred. Expertise in vertical technologies (e. g. VMware & Win OS based systems, Red Hat/Linux OS, Storage Backup (Veritas, Veeam, etc. ). #J-18808-Ljbffr
