Job Description:
The Managing Director, reporting to the VP of Global Sales, will be responsible for the following tasks:
Aligned with global policies, reviews, updates, and implements strategic business planning, including financial performance and new product development. Sets KPIs, leads, and monitors the budgeting process to meet sales goals. Deploys new standards and quality road-map to achieve higher targets aligned with global growth. Fosters long-term partnerships with existing clients and represents the Company in front of potential new clients. Ensures operations comply with Group policies and standards, particularly for HSE and ISO certifications. Ensures successful project management processes, aiming to meet client expectations from request to installation. Demonstrates strong leadership skills through empowering, collaborating, coaching, and mentoring the human capital. Leads the change management process (both cultural and organizational), ensuring an open and collaborative environment at all levels. The Successful Applicant:
The ideal candidate has an Engineering Degree in Electronic, Electric, or Industrial Automation, with proven experience in Sales leading roles within the Industrial Automation industry, preferably from components or sensor manufacturers.
A solid understanding of project management, combined with a customer-oriented mindset, is highly preferred.
High problem-solving skills, the ability to bring solutions and opportunities to the table, and managing problems autonomously are essential.
The new manager must be capable of gaining trust with a hands-on approach, engagingly deploying the necessary turnaround process after years of traditional governance.
Fluency in English and Italian is required; German is a plus.
