About Our Client Our client is an Italian industrial manufacturing company participated by a Private Equity fund.

Job Description The new Managing Director will have the following responsibilities:Identify and analyze problematic situations in operational and industrial management (purchasing, warehouses, production management), providing solutions for growth and development of the company, and prevent backlog situations. In alignment with the Ownership and the Board, share the long-term company strategy, including identifying growth opportunities, new markets, strategic partnerships, and business lines to develop by defining goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide the company towards success. Manage and streamline the supply chain with process improvement initiatives in production and the optimization of all inbound and outbound logistics activities. Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the company, including key departments such as production, procurement, logistics, human resources, and administration, ensuring activities are efficiently executed and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Monitor and manage the company's financial resources, including budgeting, cash flow, cost control, budgets, and financial reporting. Provide strategic and operational oversight of the business, ensuring adherence to required timing, budgets, and quality standards. Represent the company to clients, suppliers, business partners, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities. Identify and implement innovative technological solutions to improve operational efficiency and maintain competitiveness in the market.

The Successful ApplicantDegree in engineering or equivalent qualification.

MBA degree will be considered a plus. Proven solid experience in General Management roles, preferably within chemical or plastic manufacturing companies. Proactivity and energy will be considered crucial parameters in evaluating candidates, allowing the company to evolve and grow. Demonstrated experience in operational leadership roles. Excellent strategic planning and resource management abilities. In-depth knowledge of company industrial processes and operational practices. Ability to make informed decisions and problem-solve effectively. High-level communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Results-oriented mindset and demonstrated ability to lead change. Familiarity with emerging technologies in the operation sector. Flexibility related to frequent business travels. Fluency in English.
