**About the role

We are looking for a

**Managing Director (M/F/d)** takes over responsibility for our Italian based service entity BayWa r. e.

Operation Services Italy (the "Company") of BayWa r. e.

(the "Group") active within the field of renewable energy.

Together with a second Managing Director, this role will be responsible for all operational and strategic aspects in a highly dynamic market and will progress our ambitious growth targets.

**What You Will Do**:

- You will be in charge of general control and management of the Company's business

- You will have particular lead responsibility for the ongoing technical, commercial, operational, financial, business development, resources, compliance, and customer service business

- You will serve the Company well and faithfully to the best of their abilities, promoting, developing, extending and protecting its interests and reputation

- You will devote their whole working time, attention, and ability to the duties

- You will respect rules, procedures, and regulations of the Company

- You will comply with all reasonable and lawful requests, instructions, and directions given by the Board

- You will keep the Board regularly and fully informed of ongoing activities and any relevant corporate opportunities/ transactions

- You will be available for tasks related to the other Group activities as may be requested by the Board

**Your Profile**:

- University degree, preferably in a technical, economic, or environmental discipline

- Outstanding knowledge in the country-relevant asset management/ O&M market for renewable energies (PV and wind)

- Thorough knowledge of general renewable energy market players, trends, challenges, and opportunities is a benefit

- Proven experience as Managing Director or other senior managerial position (commercial/ financial/ legal/ technical) within the renewable energy/ green technology service business

- Experienced in corporate law, negotiation, transaction and project management best practices with proven track record in the renewable energy project and/or service business

- Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and detailed financial business plans

- Extensive and excellent experience in leadership and people management, being a natural coach and inspiring example to improve the strengths and motivation of team members at different levels

- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities and skills as well as transaction and execution capabilities

- Pro-active and entrepreneurial attitude combined with strict compliance with the Company's policies and guidelines

- Understanding the importance of digital solutions in a complex business environment and being able to communicate and implement an ambitious digitalization strategy

- Confident communicator with solid interpersonal skills allowing to lead a medium-sized to large team (30-150 employees), building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, other market players, further stake holders and international internal teams of the Group

- Intercultural awareness and proven cross-cultural management experience

- Ability to remain composed and professional under pressure, keeping a positive outlook

- Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory (both spoken and written)
